SERVPRO Storm Team

During this part of the year we have Hurricanes to deal with..  other times of the year it might be freezing temps that cause broken pipes or such in mass quantities... when cities or states or even multiple states have large events occur such as Hurricane Ida it is difficult for the local franchises to handle the workload.

In comes SERVPRO Storm Team!  Within our franchise system we have developed a couple of storm teams that organize and qualify other SERVPRO's to travel and assist the local franchises that are not only dealing with customers, but possibly with their own losses.  

One of these teams is located in Birmingham, Alabama.  As a "Storm Team" they cover eight states including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Missouri, Kentucky, Mississippi and Indiana.   When disaster strikes one of those states and the local SERVPRO's get inundated, Storm Team gets activated sending franchises or "teams" from all over the United States to come in and assist.  

For Hurricane Harvey all storm teams were activated and for Hurricane Irma we had two teams involved, one covering the south part of Florida and the other covering the north part.  

Unfortunately, a lot of people have been affected by Hurricane Ida and it will take a long time to get their homes and lives back in order.

We are thankful to be a part of the storm teams and that we can be of assistance in these difficult times.   Prayers go out to all of the people that have lost their homes, businesses, pets and even lives and though lives can't be replaced..... buildings can!   Let us help you in the ways we know how to!
